Salary: Step 3 to Step 8, $86,045 - $107,000, dependant on experience
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This role is based in the Heart and Lung Unit at Wellington Hospital and includes caseload on the 40 bed ward as well as patients in the intensive care unit. The clinical work covers in-patients under our cardiology and cardiothoracic teams including chest trauma patients.
The position sits within our cardiothoracic mini-team, consisting of expert, experienced and rotational physiotherapists. The inpatient physiotherapy team works with patients in all areas of the hospital and cover maybe required as service need indicates
This role also includes working on the on call and weekend roster covering Wellington Regional Hospital.

The Wellington Physiotherapy Team work predominantly in the inpatient setting at Wellington Regional Hospital. Our friendly, enthusiastic team includes coordinators, expert, advanced, experienced and rotational physiotherapists.

Moū - About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced physiotherapist with drive and a passion for cardiology and cardiothoracic care. Working with a diverse group of patients, from admission to discharge, you - ll demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills, and have a flexible, problem solving approach. We work closely as a team across the inpatient service (adult and paediatric), so inter-professional and inter-specialism skills are key. You will be motivated by evidence, equity and aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients and their whanau.
