The Radiology Departments at North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals boast dynamic and diverse teams of skilled Radiologists, MITs and other clinical & support staff. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, and X-Ray imaging is provided, as well as an Interventional Radiology service. We are a friendly and social team, with a great working environment.

About the role:

The RIS/PACS Team Lead will work full time in the Imaging Departments across North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals, leading the Waitematā Radiology RIS (Radiology Information System)/PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) team and ensuring the maintenance and operational efficiency of the Health New Zealand - Waitemata Radiology RIS and PACS systems.


About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging (or equivalent), be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board with a current annual practicing certificate, and be enrolled in a recognised CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme.

In addition, you will have experience with PACS and RIS administration support and modality support.
