  • Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week).

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for New Zealand Registered Physiotherapists to join our Core 2 Rotational programme. We have permanent, full-time positions that will enable you to gain a breadth of physiotherapy experience, spending 9 months in a variety of hospital and community services across our sites. You will be well supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals.

Our rotational areas are as follows:

Core 2 – 9 months

· Ward 51/Integrated Stroke Unit

· Pelvic Health - Outpatients

· General Surgery

· Orthopaedics

· Community Rehabilitation Team (CoRe)

· Neurosurgery

· Older Persons health

· Paediatrics

· Critical care

· Intermediate Care Team

· Cardio-thoracic inpatients

· Falls & Frailty

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • 18+ months experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Clean, full New Zealand drivers’ licence
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environment
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)

Salary Range: Step 1 $74,842 to Step 10 $113,000 dependent on experience.
