We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join the Community Health Service as an Advanced Clinician. This role will provide clinical leadership across the community-based physiotherapy team and will focus on enhancing the health outcomes for clients and whanau by ensuring high quality care is provided.
In this role you will:
- Apply advanced knowledge, skills and clinical reasoning when providing specialist intervention
- Coordinate, facilitate and model interdisciplinary practice based on a reablement philosophy
- Provide specialist consultation and clinical teaching based on contemporary best-practice
- Provide clinical leadership to the physiotherapists through clinical research, audit and evaluation of services and client outcomes
- Support the development of Community Health Service by providing specialist advice and input into policy, planning, and resources

Essential:
- NZ Physiotherapy Registration
- A minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience within a similar health setting
- Proven record of clinical leadership, critical thinking, and service development
- Full, drivers licence
Desirable:
- Active involvement in relevant professional organisations
- Research and audit experience
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes
