Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Physiotherapist - Rural Hospital (Hawera) Inpatient and Community
We are seeking a Proficient Physiotherapist to work as a Physiotherapist in our Rural Hospital based in Hawera. The work involves both inpatient (Mainly rehab but with some respiratory) and in Community
This a full time position but may be suitable for two part-timers
Hāwera Hospital offers a comprehensive health service. The hospital includes inpatient beds with private ensuites, four maternity beds and a fully equipped birthing room. A 24-hour emergency department provides emergency services. Hāwera Hospital offers outpatient and community services including mental health, district, allied health and public health services.
In this role you will work closely with the Hawera AH team, Inpatient and Rural Health community staff based in Hawera. You will also have regular contact with our North Taranaki teams

Moū - About you
You will need to have:-
· Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate
· Valid work Visa for NZ
· Ideally at least four years’ experience working with inpatients – rehab and respiratory or in community setting
· A passion for physio and desire to continue learning
· Problem solving approach
· Desire to progress to a fixed role with opportunity to develop your skills while working with a complex caseload
· Looking for a position with support and mentoring to develop your skill base in a more autonomous role
· Excellent cultural knowledge & practice
· Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
· Excellent computer skills
· Desire for ongoing learning
· Working visa/NZ residence (as appropriate)
