Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are looking an experienced New Zealand registered physiotherapist with a current practising certificate to work in our Cardio-Respiratory Outpatients Team at Greenlane Clinical Centre.

Physiotherapy Outpatients provide physiotherapy services operating as a secondary and tertiary service provider for outpatients with a wide range of cardio-respiratory disorders including the national center for heart and lung transplant. This is could be a part time role or fulltime role primarily with a clinical caseload providing a comprehensive service to cardiac, respiratory and transplant patients at Greenlane Clinical Centre. You will also be involved in supporting the Advanced Clinician and Senior staff with service co-ordination and development, and in staff development and growth.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • 3+ years of post-graduate experience (preferably with cardio-respiratory acute or outpatient experience)
  • Excellent clinical decision-making skills and use of evidence-based practice
  • Resilient, resourceful, proactive with the ability to resolve conflict and find viable solutions for complex issues
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment and knowledge of the acute hospital environment

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)

Salary Range: Step 1: $74,842 to step 7: $104,466 dependent on experience
